My cat Billy has been gone for a week now. For 16 years he sat on my lap or close by while I placed each brick of my dream of being an artist. Be it painting, working on my website or countless hours of writing, editing photos, school work, etc, he has been there. Since he has been sick, and wanting to be in other parts of the house, I haven’t painted much at all. Getting back to it is bitter sweet. I am so thankful to him for this companionship in my work and that his son, Jefe, still loves to be with me in my world. Missing him and so grateful for all the time we had. He will be forever in my heart and forever in my art.
